How to get YOUR Dusty Soriz Worker Pouch
This post is a compilation of a thread started by Zarshar2 in the equipment forum. I am cleaning it up to post it in the guides section.

A Dusty Soriz Worker Pouch
MAGIC ITEM LORE ITEM NO DROP
Required level of 55.
Effect: Summon Fangs (Casting Time: 30.0)
WT: 5.0 Size: MEDIUM
Class: ALL
Race: ALL

Fangs are:
Shissar Fangs
MAGIC ITEM NO DROP SUMMONED
Weight: 0.2 Size: MEDIUM
Slot: AMMO RANGE
Damage: 11 Delay: 15
Ratio: 1.363 Amazing
--------------------------------------------------------------------------------

Range: 170
Str: +5 Dex: +5 Sta: +3 Agi: +5 Poison Resist: +5
Weapon Skill: Throwing
Classes: All Classes
Races: All Races

These fangs are very handy to have for any monk that pulls in an EXP group, they can of course, be used in raid situations that don't require a 250 range item.

How to get them....

First you need to find your way to Ssraeshza Temple.
From the entrance you can invise all the way down the portal to the basement.

From the Basement you need to watch for the roaming seeinvise mob that is between you and the Skeleton caves.

Once at the front of the cave near the cart you can uninvise and buff up your party. There are no roamers here and the wandering see invise mob has a fairly small agro radius.

On the above map you can see where I marked the pouch spawn. His name is Hilbog Jasarth and he is also a skelly. More often than not you'll have to clear a PH for him a few times to get him to spawn and then *hope* he drops the pouch. It can and will be a aggrevating camp until you learn how the mobs behave.

These skellies are undead, but strangely when low on health they will run. And when I say run I mean run at sow speeds and bring back 15-20 level 49-53 mobs back on you. If you can bring a snare class to this camp you will be much safer.

You can IVU to this camp and just take out the 3 mobs that spawn in the spawn point if you are carefull, or just clear all the way into Hilbog. There are approximately 10-12 mobs between the safe cart and the Hilbog spawn point.

If you can think of anything I have left out of this guide post it and I'll fix it.

Good luck brothers and sisters on getting your own Dusty Soritz Worker Pouch!!!

- both the Warder and the Taskmaster roamers in the basement can see through invis, but can be easily avoided

- if you get a green metal shard (rare drop of all skel nameds) be happy, keep it for your shissar bane weapon. if you get a lucid shard (ultra-rare drops from the skels at entrance, rare from the drudges further in) be happy too, keep it for your VT key

Re: How to get YOUR Dusty Soriz Worker Pouch
Very good guide.

I will just add how I have done this for myself and some other friends. I basically 2-boxed this with my Bard. I would IVU and go and flop in range of the PH spot and then have my Bard go through and lull all the mobs including the 1 just past PH on right wall. The skellies are very social do not expect to be able to pull singles without huge downtime and luck without a luller. Also, if you pull singles to clear to him they will repop before you get to him. But to continue, Bard would lull them all then run out and around to the right corner coming out of the tunnel kinda behind the building and then I would stand up and pull PH or named and pull it out - 95% of the time it would be single then kill it. Then if your are bored you can kill mobs til repop. There is a named PH before the one for the pouch in the first room next to the Cart also you can kill for Ore(for Bane weapons). You can also kill taskmasters for the Emp key while your down there also.

Note to solo monks, the skeletons dont hit particularly hard, 180 or so, but they are usually hasted and have too many hp to be much of a solo option without equip better than Palop (with buffs).

Question:

Assuming you IVU to the spawn point...where you say their are three mobs that you need to kill...

Is there anyway to kill these three mobs without aggroing the other two or will you have to kill all three at once if you choose to IVU there...?

IVU is just like regular invis. If you walk up invised to three mobs and whack one, the other two will assist.

The 3 mobs are all on the wall. 2 rather close to each other and 1 a bit farther out next to a cart. I'm pretty sure you have to fight them all at once since agro range is quite huge here.

Re: How to get YOUR Dusty Soriz Worker Pouch
Okay, when I first read this guide I got very excited about the prospect of getting my fang pouch, but upon getting down there in the mines with my 2 box cleric I was very disapointed to find that it was harder than I thought...

The main problem was that at 62 with a reasonably equipped cleric at my side I could niether clear to the camp before respawn killed me. Nor could I handle three skeletons at once. If you can do either of these two things than ignore this post its not going to make your life easier.

Although I have not yet gotten my pouch I am confident I will have it soon because I figured out how to get the placeholder out of the mines solo without killing any of the other skeletons and without any adds.

I do this with a cleric, although you could theoretically do it with any class that can root and heal (druid, shaman)

At the entrance to the mines just ahead of the safe cart if you look either left or right you will notice that there are two long hallway type spaces in between the two temple buildings and the wall. These hallways are free from aggro both themselves and the areas at the end of them (as long as you dont get too close to the warden).

The pull...
1) IVU both yourself and your healing/rooting partner. Make sure that both of you have run 3 at least although I would strongly recomend sow.
2) Then run up to the pouch camp, position yourself in aggro range of the two skeletons closest to the Pouch guys placeholder
3) Position your healer also witin aggro range of the placeholder
4) Phantom call the placeholder
5) HAUL ASS...out of the mines towards the safe cart and swing a right down the hallway I pointed out earlier. Run all the way to end and towards the wardens path (basically get as far away as you can from the mines without aggroing the warden) You will train ALL the skeles because as I am sure you have noticed they are VERY social.
6) FD...you only get one shot at this, so hope for the best, if you get hit with a spell, your dead, if feign fails your dead. Ive found though that the distance you are running is far enough that most of the skeles that stop to cast spells wont be in range long enough to cast...so MOST of the time I get down on the first try. But generally speaking if you dont get down on the first try you are dead.
7) Now as soon as you are down immediatly click off IVU on the cleric and aggro the place holder, run back out of the mines and swing a left at the safe cart. Run all the way to the end and root park the placeholder there
8) once all the skelles that you trained go back to their spawn point run over and kill the pholder.

You have to be very fast about all this because if you are not your healer will probally meet a returning skeleton on the way out of the caves, since they are almost always all sowed, you only a few seconds after the first skele loses interest to get out of the mine and into the hallway. For me a second skelle on the cleric is usesually enough to wipe me.

Assuming that you do this correctly, and all goes well you have a choice. You can either do it again (thus breaking the camp and allowing you to just sit and camp) or you can just do this pull every time the Pholder spawns.

I normally break the camp if I know I am going to be there for a while, do the train pull if im leaving soon.

Hope this helps

...oh PS: obviously dont do this if there is anyone around the area that is going to get hit by the massive train.

Pouch camp with Chanter/monk/cleric
Im currently been doing the pouch camp fora couple of hours a day for the last 2 days. Heres my take on it.

Currently im 3 boxing a 65 monk, 55 chanter, and 52 cleric.

The map is dead on for getting to the camp. As long as you follow the path nothing sees invis till you get to the basement and have to deal with the taskmaster and warden.

On this note the taskmaster will go from the big room with tube in it through the small hallway into the room near the safe cart and the mines so if you are ever waiting for the warden to walk off be sure to watch behind you as well.

Safe cart is 100% safe and you can safely camp/afk as long as nobody is messing around in the mines.

No wanderers in the mines. All set spawns

Hilgoth spawns quite frequently for me jsut he never wants to give up his bag-o-tricks. I have gotten 2 green metal shards and 3 dusty amulets outta this though.

My take on breaking to camp boxing.
- I ivu everyone with sunskin, run monk to behind PHer/hilgoth and FD. Hes the spawn sorta by himself near the cart in the cubbyhole.

- Run cleric and chanter to cubby. I choose the wall between the 3 spawns far away from the other mobs but im a bit paranoid.

-When rdy have monk stand up and attack hilgoth PHer. The other mobs in room will assist. Once theya re engaged with monk then fire off mez. Once i fired it too soon and the mobs agroed my chanter bringing that run to a quick end. I also fire off a CH just in case. Usually only have problems if one of the skels is a sk and a have to each the harm touch.

- After the chanter has the adds mezzed its cake. With decent resist gear nothing will stick to you that you ahve to worry about. just do the usually slowing of mobs and will have no problem.

- when you are on the last mob be sure to root/snare him at 30%ish. If not these skels will run and add about 15 skels on you!!

- Respawn time is about 20 minutes. If you want you can pull from outside cave but id recommend against it. With monk lull i get 2 every time unless i FD split them. Thats time consuming and id rather just watch tv for the next 15 or so minutes. Also root is unreliable since it breaks at the worse time always so this is an addtional headaches since its more chance at runners. The goal of this camp is the pouch not some crappy Luclin XP IMO so i just stick to the mobs in the cubby.

Good luck on your pouch all!!

Just gonna comment about this technique as an addendum

This isnt gonna work for your everyday bazaar monk. I have high end bazaar gear and 3500 hit points unbuffed and I still die frequently running out the mines. I only have a few defensive AAs and have junk buffs since my cleric is only 52. There are SKs in the caves that will harm touch you from 700 to 900 points a pop. These add up quickly so its a fair chance that you wont make it out of the mines. Add on the fact that there are multiple shaman skels there to break FD i just think thats not practicle for your average monk. Then again your average monk doesnt 3 box either so your milage will vary.

I took my tour into the mines in Ssra's, with a 65 war/shaman/bst/druid. it was really easy to clear out past the spot. we killed every named skelly in there at least 3 times.. did not see one pouch drop. does anyone know what the rarity of this pouch is?

Its his "uncommon" but not rare drop. I would guess 1in4 or so... depending on your luck with the RNG

I've successfully held this camp with a 65 monk and a 65 shammy with minimal problems. The only trick is that some of these guys will run on you and if the shammy isn't on top of his roots that could mean 3-6 adds. As long as the shammy is on top of his game it's not too hard.

pascatt, I sent you a private message just in case you don't come back to the board.

Can you elaborate a bit on how you held the camp with a shaman. I'm going to do the same thing, I play a level 66 monk and my hubby plays a level 65 shaman. We're trying to figure out where's the best place to stand in there so we don't aggro all of the mines.

thanks

Re: How to get YOUR Dusty Soriz Worker Pouch
I did the camp at 65 with a non-raid equipped Monk/Shaman no problem as long as I didn't get sloppy or let something run. At L65 you should be able to do 3-4 at a time anyways, just sit in the room he spawns in. Respawn was pretty fast, you might not have time to FD split. I kept the stuff in the next room out clear, killing them as they respawned so I had a good idea of when the room would pop. Obviously anklesmasher is a must. At 65, as long as you don't get crazy on pulls or have something run, you should be fine. I didn't usually slow non-nameds, it was more mana efficient to Quiessence heal then it was to slow them all, though I usually slowed them as I engaged them. Just sit in the room, keep the stuff just outside the room clear as possible, kill them as they pop. With Quiessence you don't have to worry about getting singles, though from my experience, when you pull more then 4 or so at a time the Shaman will have to offtank some, but more then 3-4 usually meant I was bored and just being sloppy (or one gated). One note, when not in melee range, agro is weird there. I'd go pull some waiting for respawn, more often then not they be chasing me, HT the standing shaman, and then attack me with melee. But this stuff isn't super high level, just decent AC and HP, melee damage on a few at a time isn't that bad with LR5. It doesn't take that long to get the hang of that camp, hopefully you visit it a lot fewer times then I had to : P
