Solo'ing A Dusty Soriz Worker Pouch Here's how to Solo A Dusty Soriz Worker Pouch. It drops in Ssra Temple mines, 2nd alcove off of Hilog Jarsath. Things you need - 1) At least 5k hp unbuffed and Virtue, putting you in the 6500hp range 2) At least 250AA i'd say, max Critical Mend is essential 3) Root nets from CC or Permafrost Getting down there and the safe spot Getting down there is easy, and knowing the safe spot in the mine is the most important thing about this camp. The safe spot is located about 10 feet behind the mine cart. Nothing will agro you here, you can sit and regen all day long. Alwayz toggle camera view before you sit though, just in case you got too far out and skellies agro, you can FD in plenty of time. Breaking the Camp - You're gonna be dealing with 3 buffed up skeletons. Usually they are SK types so expect to take a HT here and there. Looking at the mine cart, you'll see 2 skelly's on your left in the alcove and then Jarsaths PH near the mine cart. You wanna kill the PH first. Lull one of the 2 on the left and charge the PH. You'll be dealing with 2 mobs, and the 3rd will add in 12 seconds. Burn down the PH with Innerflame. It will refresh just about the time this mob respawns in 20 mins. Once you kill that PH, FD at your safe spot. When mobs reset, sit up and regen. Your downtime should be about 5 mins in between fights because you'll be needing your mend on every fight pretty much. Now there are 2 and it's alot easier. Lull 1 and charge the other. No need to burn a disc now, dealing with 2 isn't bad, especially with Crit Mend. Now there's 1 left. When your ready, charge him. Remember he will run at 20% since he's single. And he might take off fast too, since they are usually buffed when you start. Root him at 20% and finish him off. After you've initially broken the camp, mobs won't be able to buff up on you, so you won't need to root them anymore. You can kill them before they get too far and won't get hurt too bad by adds. FD a your safe spot and get ready for respawns. Solo'ing Hilog Jarsath - Gratz! You've broken the camp, you've got full hp and endurance and Innerflame is about to refresh in 1 minute and..SPLAH, Hilog Jarsath spawns. Don't waste time, engage him. He's gonna hit you with a HT for 881. This puts you in a hole from the opening seconds that you don't wanna be in. After taking the HT, FD at safe spot and regen to full - take the HT out of the equation. Get to full hp and charge, full burn. Open with Innerflame and follow instantly with Ashenhand, finishing with Stonewall. It should be a good fight, and pray for your crit mend to fire off, cause you'll probably be needing it. Root him at 20%. You cannot affort to let him get out of the alcove far. He's got too many hp to be playing around with adds on this. And now, if you're very very lucky you just solo'd yourself A Dusty Soriz Worker Pouch. If Hilog is already up when you get there - If Jarsath is already spawned when you get there, it's a little tougher, but you can still do this. Here's what i did. Lull one of the mobs on left side and quickly root Hilog and hope it stick. Now hurry and charge the left skelly that you did not lull. This buys you a few seconds to fight the mob solo, then you'll get the skelly add. Hope that root sticks on Jarsath for awhile and he's really not a factor. After you take out one skelly. Hang out at safe spot, root Jarsath again and take out the other skelly. Now you've got Jarsath alone. Good Luck Monks! Sensei Ninjuggz Dragunzord

Re: Solo'ing A Dusty Soriz Worker Pouch Just got my own Pouch doing this. Its important to have your defensive AAs and Mend AAs, with the defensive AAs the trash mobs mostly miss. You NEED root or snare, so nets from CC or snare glands or whatever are the most important part, you cannot let anything run. Hard part is breaking camp if Hilog is up. I couldn't do it with 6200hp, the 2 trash and Hilog would beat me down, so I got a bunch of HP buffs and owned Hilog, burned him down with innerflame. Then I FD, let the 2 trash reset, went to the safe spot and healed up. After that taking on the trash is pretty easy. Try and keep the spawn separated, you don't want respawn on you if you're fighting Hilog. Try to keep a few minutes before the PH or Hilog spawns for you to heal to full and have discs available. And save innerflame for Hilog, don't waste it on trash. ![]() Level 65 Iksar Transcendent

Re: Solo'ing A Dusty Soriz Worker Pouch Another note that you might overlook if not careful... Take off the proc weaps if you have that last mob rooted. When you break your own root it fairly well sucks. Have to FD, wait for mem wipe since your name just got passed to every other skelly it ran past, and start over when it resets. But yes, very nice job! Sensei Moriza Brell Serilis

Re: Solo'ing A Dusty Soriz Worker Pouch I've been trying to duo this camp with my druid, but keep getting her killed. I don't have the "oomph" to kill one with all three pounding on me, and wasn't sure I could hold agro on all three while the druid healed, so I decided to have the (lvl 5 druid try to root one. Root failed.. dead druid. Tonight I'll try just healing while the first is killed, and if mana not good enough, having the druid egress out while I feign. We'll see how that turns out. I need the shard from that area as well, and figured one camp could get both done.

Re: Solo'ing A Dusty Soriz Worker Pouch Honestly, I dualbox the camp easily with a cleric(granted it's 65 so more mana, but) The break's the hard part, and took me a few times to get right. Way I do it, is ITU in, munk set's up on the ground in front of, and facing the Named PH, cleric sets up on the other side of the cubby. Munk usually has a 9th ring DS on, but I take it off for the break, don't want to get the other two into summoning range. I stand up with the munk, position myself between named PH and the other two mobs, and pretarget one of those two with the cleric. (This is assuming ITU is still up, if not, I do that while still FD no worries) Monk drops ITU(or stands up), and all three engage. I stonestance with the monk, and root the two adds with the cleric, then I back the monk up to where the cleric is. Cleric uses a CH at most to heal the monk once there, and focuses on keeping the two adds rooted. Cleric also roots the one the monk is killing so it doesn't run near the end. Key to this is not getting those two adds into summoning range. With KEI(VOQ"s better, you don't really need the manaregen after you've broken the camp, just during the break) you can easily medup enough to keep those two rooted long enough to get a nice breakup on the spawn times. After that, it's all about keeping them from running. And that's not hard with a snare or root class really. Mistress Zumino Zufeilon

Re: Solo'ing A Dusty Soriz Worker Pouch I tried rooting, but at 58, the druid was resisted, which meant dead druid. So I took another approach, and just fought all three, spreading hits to hold agro on all of them, as the druid healed. Once the first was down, the healing kept up fine, and the druid had KEI. Only problem was I didn't get the last MOB snared in time: just plain forgot it was gonna run once the others were dead, since the other skellies weren't close enough to keep it from running. Dead druid again. Then, of course, Hilog popped, meaning I had to break it again with the named pounding on me. So I set up once more, lulled one and engage Hilog. Druid was chain healing to keep up with the damage, and it became clear that I wasn't quite gonna make it, so she egressed and I flopped. Used the last of my IVU potions to set up one more time once mana, hitpoints and discs were back up, hoping the RNG would roll in our favor this time. Then came my second dumb move of the night.. left the druid sitting down when I engaged. Oops. Dead again. With the druid about to lose level 58, and me getting close to 64, I decided to call for guild help. With a couple others we just crawled the mines. Hilog dropped the pouch for me, I got the shard I needed (along with 2 others we called in for 'em), and a named popped that got me the ore for a shissar bane weapon. So the night started poorly, I didn't play particularly well, but ended up with what I needed. Challenges are fun even if you don't win, and I suspect I'll go back and do it just to prove I can! Re: Solo'ing A Dusty Soriz Worker Pouch Posts and map spot on, thanks all for your help. I also tried dual-boxing, with a 65 moderately-equipped shammy and my monk. At first, I tried to fight my way down there to set up, but somewhere along the line a root would always seem to break at the wrong time, and it was "gate the shaman and FD" time. Not very satisfying, especially when the shammy is bound in Abysmal Sea. LOL. So instead, I followed the post here. Shammy made some ITU potions, I buffed up the monk really well (including regen and Ferine Avatar), and sent the monk in solo. I followed this guide on how to work with three, burnt one down with inner flame, FD'ed, no Critical Mend, but still ended up with 25% health when FD. I found the nice safe spot to sit -- although after the PH is dead, you can just sit in his spawn spot. 4 minutes after the first kill, took on 2, used Earthwalk, killed one, FD'ed. I then ITU'ed the shammy and moved her in -- because I needed the root more than anything else. At this point, the PH and the center spawn were slain, so shammy could safely un-ITU right behind the cart at the PH spawn. Popped pet, healed monk, waited a minute (just to keep the spawns nicely broken), destroyed the third. From them on, it's trivial with shammy slow (for goodness sakes!). There is plenty of time to med, so I chain-rooted with the shammy starting at 30% health. (If one gets away, the camp is over.) Oh, and don't forget to remove those wonderful proc'ing weapons you've built using LDoN, they break root. Yeah, I should have known that, but everyone has complete brain-fart moments! I had 3 PHs, then got a Dusty Amulet, then 4 PHs, then the pouch. 20 minute spawntime is SPOT on, so it took 3 hours or so. Beats the 4-5 PoG raids and numerous Kael Arena raids I attended before a Velious wristband finally dropped for me. The range is sweet, I pulled in Fire and Earth-B last night using them... usually I have to switch to the Fishbone Darts, because the range of the shurikens is nearly useless there. Good luck munkies, and previous posters, I owe you!

Re: Solo'ing A Dusty Soriz Worker Pouch Thanks for the guide, did this today at 6k self buffed, was already up and dropped it on the first time. As for the running I didn't find it too bad, but as a suggestion if you can survive it and am afraid of the running time your attack on hilog just before the first repop so it repops when he's at 50. Also running is based on your health too, so might want to think about when to mend if you're owning him.

Re: Solo'ing A Dusty Soriz Worker Pouch Man I must really suck. Im not sure if i had the right spot (does anyone have a /loc for the spot? I used the map but hard to tell). I didnt even come close to killing one. I lulled 1 of the 3, and with 7560 hps I was at 2% when the first mob was 51%. Was using Anklesmashed and epic haste. Even burned innerfire. Is the safe spot the cart outside of tunnel? Still gotta pass like 15 skeles to get back there.

Re: Solo'ing A Dusty Soriz Worker Pouch If you're fighting more then one at a time don't bother using the ankle yet. They won't run if a friend is beating on you

Re: Solo'ing A Dusty Soriz Worker Pouch The safe spot is much closer; it's a spot right near the 3 skeletons, somewhat in the hall. It takes a bit of experimentation to find it, but it's not super-tiny either. I'd try and find it first before engaging the skellies so you know where it is. Don't forget Stonestance or Earthwalk, especially when 3 are beating on you. Helps a little after the Innerflame burn.

Re: Solo'ing A Dusty Soriz Worker Pouch I was there a week ago for a first visit of the camp and found the "safe spot". The misunderstanding probably is, that on most maps there's the "safe cart" in it, which is the cart outside the mine entrance. This however is not the spot mentioned in the notes above. In front of the actual camp (the three spawns) is another cart. If you stay in front of the cart out in the tunnel a bit there is an area where you will not aggro any of the spawns. Just test it out, with FD there's not much that can go wrong. -- |
